On September 16, the National Diamond Tool Quality Supervision and Inspection Center was formally established in Ezhou.
Ezhou has nearly 300 small and medium-sized diamond cutter companies with Yanji Town as its core area, and its products are exported to more than 30 countries and regions including the United States, Europe, Russia, the Middle East and South America, becoming China's largest diamond saw blade production base.
In 2006, the Provincial Bureau of Quality Supervision approved the establishment of the Provincial Diamond Tool Quality Inspection Center in Ezhou. On June 7 this year, the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine agreed to establish a national diamond tool quality supervision and inspection center to provide diamond tool quality supervision and inspection, and scientific and technological innovation services to the country.
The center currently has 137 sets of professional testing equipment for various diamond tools, such as a diamond topography analysis system, saw blade sawtooth bond strength tester, saw blade rotation strength tester, etc. It has two series of diamond single crystal and diamond circular saw blades. Project (parameter) inspection ability, and obtained inspection ability and qualification of 6 kinds of products such as diamond circular saw blade, diamond fine grinding blade, assorted file. At present, there are 40 engineering and technical personnel of various types, including 2 well-known experts in China and 8 professional and technical personnel with PhD or above.
The center is the only diamond tool quality supervision and inspection center in the country, which will make Ezhou a national diamond technology research and development and product standard formulation base, with more market power. (Zhou Lixin, Li Hongjiang, Deng Rui)
